Roles of Silicon Content and Normalization Temperature on Cold Workability and Recrystallization of High-Grade Non-Oriented Silicon Steel

In order to decrease the difficulty of cold workability and study recrystallization behavior high-grade non-oriented silicon steel, Si content normalization temperature were optimized simultaneously. The microstructure texture both hot-rolled sheet normalized annealing presented a gradient distribution. With in from 3.02% 2.54% increase 850 °C 920 °C, Goss ({110}<001>) intensity at surface layer α-fiber (<110>//RD) strengthened, gradually turned α*-fiber ({1 1 h}<1/h 2>) sheet. Recrystallization ratio grain size increased tensile strength yield reduced by 65 Mpa, which decreased improved rolling yield. rolled had wider shear bands nucleated earlier but recrystallized velocity was slower because lower energy storage during interval annealing, resulting more heterogeneous distribution final
